l KNOW THE SIDE EFFECTS!!!l asked if anyone had side effects from their Depakote ER!!
l take Depakote ER, and seem to be losing my hair. l was just wanting to see if anyone else that took it, experienced this.
Does anyone have side effects of their medication, specifically Depakote ER
Depakote is awful. I was on it for a short time and felt so horrible. If you're experiencing side effects tell your doctor. There is absolutely no reason to have to put up with side effects from any medication. If your doctor feels that there is nothing else that can be substituted for the Depakote then perhaps adjusting the dosage could help. Good luck.

Depakote IS. a side effect in a pill.
Do you like your hair?
Do you like your weight?
Do you like to be catatonic most of the time?
Do you like having to have your blood work done to check for high Valproic Acid levels?
IF the therapy is higher maintence than your illness. Why bother?
Ask for something else. Even Lithium is better!
