Wow, u really need to look it up. I found this on a medical site: ''The maximum recommended dosage is 60 mg/kg/day.'' Most of the sites, & the doctors that have treated me have said that the max dose that should be given is 1000mg per day.
I know that u can overdose on depakote. It can cause not only liver damage but, confusion & other mental problems.
I would check with both ur doctor & ur pharmacist. Be careful.
