Why does depakote cause weight gain? And makes it hard to orgasm during sex?

Sorry, i can not answer that, i just noticed the word Depakote and my boyfriend takes that. He does not have a problem orgasming (but he is a guy after all) and he has kinda gained weight.

Do you eat before or while you take it. Because i know that it makes him really tired and if you eat and go to sleep it is harder for your body to metabolize. If you have messenger can you send me a message.
