I THINK YOU SHOULD ASK YOUR PHARMACIST. I WORKED IN AN ASSISTED LIVING HOME. BUT, I'VE NEVER HEARD OF IT USED FOR MIGRAINS, BUT, I HAD A DOG THAT HAD COMPULSIVE BEHAVIOR, AND I SEEN SOME NEWS, ABOUT USING ANTIDEPRESANTS TO CONTROL, HE WOULD BIT HIM SELF SO BAD AND IT MAKE HIM HURT,AND MAKE HIM BLEED, WE TOOK HIM TO THE VET, AND HE SAID IF HE WAS HIS DOG, HE'D PUT HIM DOWN, HE WAS INSO MUCH PAIN, BECAUSE IT WAS CONTINUOUS. SO WE DID.

Divalproex Sodium (brand name Depakote,-ER,-Sprinkles) will cause headache with a severe blistering. It is a very potent drug to cause many other side effects especially the severe ones like liver damage & life-threatening scenarios of becoming suicidal.
Pregnant women must never be prescript to take this medicine.

If You r taking this medicine for migraines without any prescription from the doctor then You must at once discontinue. In case of ur doctor have prescript it to You then You need to call/visit him or her at once & visit a near by hospital as well.
